Jung Sets Korean Record in Long Jump

Jung Soon-ok secured a place in the World Athletics Championships breaking her Korean record in the long jump.
Jung jumped 6 meters and 76 centimeters at the National Athletics Championships breaking her previous record of 6 meters 68 centimeters set in September 2006, and over the qualifying distance for the Worlds of 6 meters 72 centimeters.
The record is the ninth longest women's jump this season falling 30 centimeters short of the top long jump this year.
