Provincial News Stars galore at Cheongpodae Beach K-pop festival

A star-studded music festival will entertain holidaymakers at Cheongpodae Beach, Taean, on Friday.

The “2017 Korea Pop Festival” will continue through Aug. 2, with 18 K-pop musicians, including crooner Jo Hang-jo, K-pop diva Lee Eun-ha and singer/songwriter Hong Seo-bum.

More than 5,000 people camping in and around the beach are expected to attend, according to the Korea Broadcasting Singer Union, which is hosting the event.
