A woman was detained for trespassing at the U.S. Army Garrison base in Yongsan, central Seoul, according to police and media reports, Wednesday.

Most of the U.S. troops who were stationed there have moved to the bigger Pyeongtaek base.

The suspect, in her 20s, allegedly got into the base through Gate 3 about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

A U.S soldier caught her in the parking lot after she moved 150 meters from the gate.

Police told Yonhap that the woman talked incoherently and said all Koreans were trying to kill her, so she wanted U.S. Army protection.
