A drunk teenager in a rage after breaking up with his girlfriend set a closet on fire at his apartment in Ilsan, west Gyeonggi Province, Tuesday.
According to Ilsan Seobu Police, the fire was on the 14th floor of a 20-story apartment building. It was extinguished in 30 minutes.
Some 70 residents were evacuated. Seven were taken to hospital.
The suspect, 19, was apprehended near the apartment about two hours after the fire. Police said he was intoxicated when he started the blaze.
He told police he set the fire in a fit of rage after breaking up with his girlfriend.
