Three people were injured in a seven-vehicle pileup in Daegu, Wednesday.
It occurred at 7 a.m. on a road near Maegok filtration plant, police said.
They said the driver of the first car stopped suddenly, causing the collisions.
An investigation is under way to discover why the driver braked abruptly.
The injured people are being treated in hospital.
