Man extorts sex worker by showing severed finger

A man has been arrested for allegedly extorting money from a prostitute after showing her a severed finger, Busan police said on Monday.
According to police, the suspect, 49, took 890,000 won from the woman.
The man also is suspected of vandalizing 23 premises and extorting 330,000 won from sex traffickers in the red-light district.
He reportedly confessed after police persuaded the victim to report him.
Police say the man used the same method to extort money from other sex-related businesses in Seoul and Masan.
