Policeman jumps off bridge after being caught buying sex

A policeman jumped off a bridge after he was caught buying sex, police said Friday. He was rescued and is being treated at a hospital.

According to Namdaemun Police Station, the sergeant, 37, jumped off a bridge crossing Seoul’s Han River on Thursday night in an apparent attempt to kill himself. It came one day after he was questioned over prostitution, investigators said.

“He’s OK,” an investigator said. “We will question him when he’s recovered.”
