French chef offers pasta pop-up
Known for producing some of the most authentic French cuisine in Seoul,
chef Kevin Attal will be doing something just a bit different on Tuesday, June 19, at El Pino 323. Inspired by cultures around the world, The
will feature handcrafted pastas and sauces made from scratch.
Menu items include Bolognese lasagna, duck a l'orange pappardelle and carnitas & mole ravioli. Walk-ins are welcome but reserving a spot is highly encouraged for seating at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Pay just 15,000 won and indulge in some delicious eats.
Zen master leads casual conversation
Renowned for his humanitarian efforts,
is the head master of the Jungto Society of Korea, an organization that promotes a life of sharing and peace through Buddhist teachings. The social activist promotes ecological awareness, human rights and world peace and has founded a number of agencies, think tanks and organizations for these causes.
He is well-known for engaging with his audiences during discussions on Buddhist teachings. On Friday, June 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. he welcomes visitors to Jogye Temple to participate in a casual conversation on life, love, success, happiness and meaning. Space One hosts rooftop fundraiser on Shinheung Market
Committed to supporting both emerging and established artists exhibit experimental works,
Space One is an independent, artist-run space
located in Shinheung Market, high up the slope of Haebangchon, Seoul. Hoping to foster an exchange of opportunities and collaborations for artists, Space One was founded in 2014 by Yeo In-young and Han Yo-han. On June 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Space One will host a

The event will feature Linus' BBQ, a silent auction with works by local and international artists, a bake sale, a market with local crafts and eateries provided by Baek Jong-won's Alley Restaurant, JungYup's Cafe and Cakeshop, Orang Orang Cafe and leather goods for sale along with raffle prizes. Proceeds from the event will go toward signage, fencing and lighting for safety and accessibility.
