By John Redmond
An international kindergarten in Yongsan, Seoul, will hold a seminar on “third culture kids” on April 16.
The host, ECLC International Kindergarten, said the event is for parents interested in learning more about their child’s growth and development.
The presentation of about 45 minutes will be immediately followed by a Q&A.
The lecture will be presented by Andy Whitney who will be giving advice to parents of young children.
Third culture kids refer to children growing up away from their home culture.
Whitney has been an early childhood educator for over 30 years.
Originally from the United States, Whitney, who has a bachelor of science degree in child development from the University of Maine and a masters in education from Harvard University, has taught in Africa, South America and Asia.
