World Food Expo to take place at KINTEX Dec. 4-6

The event offers an opportunity to savor food and drink from across the globe and is organized in collaboration with a number of partners, including the Korean Farmers & Fishermen’s News, the Food Journal and Food Service Management.
World Food Expo Korea will bring together a vast array of buyers and sellers from the food, hotel and restaurant and brewing industries. Aside from the international fare on offer, the expo will also highlight Korea’s own unique national cuisine, which is gaining global popularity as part of the hallyu, or the Korean wave.
With the grand space of the KINTEX’s Korea Hall 7 being used for the event, attendees will be free to sample goods from a number of different sections. These include: Fine Food ― Meat, Poultry & Sea Food; Natural & Organic; Fruits & Vegetables; Food Ingredients & Functional; Grocery, Desert & Snack; Wine, Gourmet & Beverage; Baby Food & Products; Chicken, Beer & Noodle; Food Pack & Technology; Pharama & Biopharama and Laboratory & Clean Tech.
The event is billed as a chance for importers of food, wholesalers, distributors and hotel and restaurant professionals from Asia and across the world to meet and perhaps form business partnerships.
With more than 300 exhibitions planned for the event, the expo is hoping to attract around 35,000 people over the three days. For members of the general public who wish to attend, there is no entrance fee, but they will be required to first register online on the event website, then provide their name and phone number on the day they arrive in order to receive their pass and gain entry.
