Exhibition will feature Dutch architecture, design
By John Redmond
An exhibition of Dutch architecture and design will be held at the Korea Foundation Cultural Center Gallery in central Seoul from Aug. 14 to Oct. 30.
Titled “New Message from the Netherlands” the exhibition will display examples of architecture and design from the Netherlands that have attracted global attention.
Rather than merely offering visitors a lineup of eye-grabbing pieces, the show aims to explore how the new values of Dutch design communicate to the world by analyzing their socio-cultural origins.
Exhibition hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. (The closing hour is 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. No show on Sundays.) Admission is free.
The gallery is on the 2nd floor of Mirae Asset Center 1 Building in Suha-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.
