American comedian to perform in Seoul

An English-language comedy group, Stand Up Seoul, offers lovers of comedy a chance to laugh off the summer heat with performances by American comedian and actor Baron Vaughn.
For two nights at Club Horizon Hall in southern Seoul, Vaughn, who plays Leonardo Prince on TV’s “Fairly Legal,” will entertain Korean audiences with his new routine.
The actor recently released his first album, “Raised by Cable,” which has debuted to a five-star review on iTunes. Vaughn has performed stand-up on “Conan,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and made numerous appearances on Comedy Central, including “Live at Gotham” and “The Awkward Comedy Show.”
He performed at the 2006 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, the South Beach Comedy Festival, the San Francisco Sketchfest, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Vancouver Comedy Festival, the All Points West Music and Arts Festival, and the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival.
He has also appeared in many shows on VH1, MTV, FUSE as well as the films” Black Dynamite,” “Cloverfield” and “The Other Guys.”
The performance dates are Aug. 16 to 17 from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Advance tickets (before Aug. 9) will cost 30,000 won and regular tickets (after Aug. 9) will cost 35,000 won. These include a free drink.
Club Horizon Hall is on the 23rd floor of the Renaissance Hotel, Yeoksam-dong, southern Seoul.

Tickets will be reserved for 48 hours, pending bank transfer. Upon bank transfer completion, send a text message to 010-5630-9855 with your name, email, bank used, and time of transfer. A confirmation email will be sent later that day.
In the email state the number of tickets, your name, first and last, and the names of all other people for whom you are getting tickets and the date of the show.
A group discount will be offered for groups of seven or more.

Please only leave your name when/if asked about note printed on a receiver’s bank book. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis, so it is wise to pay ASAP. Tickets will not be confirmed until payment is received.
