Counter Punch Cinema screens ’The Cove’

Counter Punch Cinema will screen controversial documentary “The Cove” at Roofers in Itaewon on Oct. 30.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the group “Counter Punch Cinema” brings together people who are interested in viewing documentaries and having a discussion about the topics presented in the film afterwards. The films, viewed monthly, explore issues in the social/cultural/political and agronomic areas.

The Cove is an Academy Award Winner of the 2010 Best Documentary Feature.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, a group of activists, led by renowned dolphin trainer Ric O'Barry, infiltrate a cove near Taijii, Japan to expose what really happens to dolphins that frequent the waters of the Japanese shores.

Admission is free.

To get to Roofers Come out Itaewon station (stop 630) exit 3 and walk straight. You will see Dunkin Donuts on your right. When you reach Dunkin Donuts turn right up the hill. Walk about 60 meters and Roofers is on your right on the 3rd floor.
