Korea folk tale on stage

A production of “Banggui a.k.a The Farting Lady” will be staged at the Seoul Namsan Gugak (Traditional) Theater through Feb. 27 in

Chungmuro, Seoul.

Jointly produced by Korea’s Sadari Theater Company and Britain’s Moby Duck Theater Company the performance is based on a Korean folk tale that really does involve a farting lady and features traditional Korean dance, mime, and puppet shows.

The show is held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m from Tuesday to Thursday. On Fridays, there are shows at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, there are shows at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Closed Monday. Entrance fee is 25,000 won per person.
