AustCham to host G20 Business dinner

The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea is hosting its annual Business Awards gala dinner in the midst of the G20 activities on Oct. 28 at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Hotel from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A total of 17 companies will vie for the coveted awards of Best SME, Investment of the Year, Best Services Company, Trade Excellence and Business of the Year Award.

It promises to be an excellent evening to celebrate the achievements of leading companies in the business in the business community as well as network with key Australian, Korean and global company representatives.

This prestigious black tie event will be attended by senior Australian and Korean business figures and community leaders.

Famous a cappella group, SUADE, will fly in from Australia and perform while guests enjoy a four course menu complemented by quality Australian wines.

The award trophies were hand crafted by Australian artists from Stafford studios, Western Australia.

The price is 120,000 won.

Seoul City Improv presents Frightjest

Seoul City Improv, Seoul’s improvisation comedy group in the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” will stage a performance entitled Frightjest, at the Spazio Luce Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. It will be a Halloween-themed show with appropriately selected games, props, and decorations.

Admission is 10,000 won with no advanced reservations.

To get to Spazio Luce, leave Itaewon Station from Exit 2 and walk straight for two blocks past Helios and Villa Sortino. After the International Clinic, the Spazio Luce space is the building with the angular frosted glass front, directly across from Rocky Mountain Tavern. The theater is in the basement.
