The KOTESOL/UCC 2010 National Conference
Daegu Exhibition and Convention Center (EXCO) will play host to the KOTESOL/UCC 2010 National Conference, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year's theme is ``Learning to Teach, Teaching to Learn: Lessons from the Classroom.''
Aleda Krause will present ``Simple Activities for Super Classes,'' and Steven Cornwell, ``Five Things I've Learned From My Students.''
The National Conference is provided as a counter-balance to the International Conference held every October in Seoul. It is the biggest meeting for the first half of the year and gives conference-goers an opportunity to see a quality conference outside Seoul.
Conferences provide many opportunities for KOTESOL members, including the chance to see world-class speakers as well as local talent speaking on topics that concern us all.
Then there is the networking: seeing people you have not seen in a while. You can also find out about upcoming job opportunities and teacher training courses, while perusing the latest publisher offerings and enjoying the discounted rates on the latest releases.
