JAL presents special offers for Korean passengers

Japan’s flag carrier airline offers special rates to its Korean members for flights to Tokyo and flights between Tokyo and eight cities in Canada and the United States.
According to Japan Airlines (JAL), members of JAL Mileage Bank can enjoy discounted rates of up to 18 percent for Gimpo-Haneda, Incheon-Narita and Busan-Narita routes.
The discounts are available only for business-class passengers. Prices start from 613,400 won, including three free pieces of checked baggage ― 32 kilograms each ― and access to the airport lounges at both arrival and departure cities.
The discount will also be available for passengers who travel to eight North American cities, including New York City, Boston, Dallas, San Diego and Vancouver. The price starts from 1,190,800 won, and the offer is available for both economy- and business-class passengers. Korean passengers who fly these routes will also receive mobile points, equivalent to a 20,000-won coupon, which can be used at the Shinsegae Department Store in Seoul.
Boeing 787 and 777 are in service for JAL’s North American routes, ensuring comfort for passengers, according to JAL. The special offers will last until Sept. 30, visit kr.jal.com for more information and reservations. Those who wish to be JAL Mileage Bank members can also visit the website.
JAL also offers passengers special discount coupons for restaurants, shopping malls and major tour destinations to the island of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost prefecture.
The discounts are available at 50 venues until March 31, 2017, and the detailed information on each venue can be found at www.kr.jal.com/krl/ko/hokkaido. Travelers are required to present their boarding passes and a copy or screen shot of the information about the place they wish to visit from the website. JAL flies to six cities on the island, including Sapporo, Kushiro and Memanbetsu. The price starts from 519,400 won, including tax.
