Local TV broadcaster chairman dies at Himalaya

A local TV broadcaster chairman has died while trekking Himalayas.

Jeong Sae-hwan, who chairs private broadcaster Gangwon No.1 Broadcasting in Gangwon Province, died on Tuesday while climbing about 5,500 meters up the mountain, according to the South Korean Embassy in Nepal.

Contact with Jeong’s crews has been lost since Tuesday morning.
