Foreigners' VAT refund all the fashion at Dongdaemum

Foreign tourists shopping at Dongdaemum market in central Seoul are able to get their Value-Added Tax (VAT) back immediately, sources said Tuesday.
The market is often called a “fashion mecca” for its proximity to several shopping centers and traditional markets.
A fashion outlet, Hyundai City Outlet Dongdaemum, launched the service last month. Two other giant shopping malls, Doota and Lotte FITIN, are set to launch the service.
Foreign shoppers account for more than half the sales of the two malls.
