McDonald's to raise prices again
McDonald’s will raise the prices of several products starting Feb. 11, Yonhap reports.
McDonald’s said Thursday it would raise by 100 won to 200 won the price of nine burger items, four morning menus and four desserts. This means the prices of Big Macs and McSpicy Shanghai Burgers will climb to 4,400 won from 4,300 won and the price of hamburgers to 1,800 won. An Egg Mcmuffin will increase to 2,500 won from 2,400 won, and shakes will rise to 2,200 won from 2,000 won.
The minimum requirement delivery cost will rise to 8,000 won from 7,000 won.
McDonald’s has raised prices every year since 2011 after increasing prices by 2.7 percent in May 2011.
Burger King has also raised prices by 6.3 percent since 2010. Lotteria has increased prices each year since 2014.
