Hankook Ilbo appoints president, managing editor

The Hankook Ilbo, the sister paper of The Korea Times, appointed Lee Jun-hee as president at a board meeting held on Thursday.
Lee joined the newspaper in 1984 and has served in various posts including managing editor and chief editorial writer.
He will replace the outgoing president Lee Jong-seoung.
The board also appointed Hwang sang-jin as the new managing editor. He has served as an editorial writer since July.
Both will take office on Friday.
