Fire in warehouse kills one

A fire broke out at the Cheil Industries warehouse in Gimpo, Gyeonggi province early Monday, killing one.
A 34-year-old security guard surnamed Yoon was found injured in an elevator at 6:41 a.m., but was later pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, according to the district fire department.
A majority of the fire was extinguished in three hours and forty minutes after it broke out at 2:16 a.m. from the building's seventh floor.
"We are working with smaller fires now, but we see no possibility of these small fires spreading into larger scales," a firefighter was quoted as saying.
The cause of the fire has not been clarified, and heaps of clothing stored inside the warehouse was reported to have been damaged.
The fire department announced that it has dispatched more than 124 fire extinguishing pump trucks and 631 fire fighters, along with requestnig support from surrounding areas.
