DSDL, which owns two serviced residences in Seoul ― Fraser Place Central and Fraser Place Namdaemun ― has received a citation from Yongsan District Office for its charity activities in the community.

Sung Jang-hyun, head of the district office, handed the citation to Willy Lee from the Human Resources Department of Fraser Place during a ceremony to mark the 17th anniversary of the Hyochang Social Welfare Center on May 14.

Fraser Place staff visited the welfare center in April last year, on the company’s annual “Fraser’s Day,” to celebrate its 16th anniversary.

The workers volunteered for community service at the center, doing homework and sports with children there. They also cooked for the children.

When the company celebrated Fraser Place Namdaemun’s first anniversary in July, it invited the children for a pizza-making event, sharing lunch with them, and presented a magic show.

“We wanted our anniversary to be shared with our neighbors,” said Lee.

Fraser Place said it would cherish its relationship with the children and continue to cultivate a long and lasting friendship with Hyochang Social Welfare Center.

Do not go gentle into that good night, old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light, though wise men at their end know dark is right, because their words had forked no lightning they, do not go gentle into that good night.
