Star thanks fans for supporting wedding plans

Singer-turned-actress Park Soo-jin, 29, has thanked fans for celebrating her plans to marry.
“I am grateful to all those who have supported my marriage,” she said on Saturday at a signing event at Hyundai Department in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, south of Seoul.
It was her first public appearance since her management agency Keyeast Entertainment announced on Thursday that she will marry actor Bae Yong-joon this autumn.
Hundreds of fans and reporters joined the signing event. When she appeared on stage, they applauded her warmly.
But she did not elaborate on her marriage during her half-hour appearance.
Park made her debut in 2002 as a member of pop girl group Sugar. She left in 2006 to become an actress.
She has been MC of the TV program “Tasty Road” since 2010, introducing restaurants that sell healthy and tasty food.
