Survey reveals how good Koreans are to parents

Koreans rated themselves an average 5.2 on a scale of 10 for filial piety, according a survey by online retailer Gmarket.
In the survey of 1,095 customers before Parents Day on May 8, 31 percent gave themselves 5 points, 14 percent 7 points, 12 percent 6 points and 7 percent 8 points.
A surprising 4 percent gave themselves a full 10 points.
This shows that close to 70 percent said they score 5 or above in how good they are to their parents.
But 21 percent rated themselves 1 to 3 points, higher than the 13 percent who gave themselves 8 to 10 points.
Nine percent gave themselves 1 point.
The average score of women (5.3) was higher than that of men (5). There was no significant difference in points according to age.
