Korea's first male fashion model indicted for sexual harassment
By Lee Kyung-min

Toh Shin-woo
Korea’s first male fashion model, Toh Shin-woo, 70, has been indicted for sexually harassing a female employee of his firm, Model Center International.
According to the Seoul Eastern Prosecutors’ Office, Toh has been under investigation for allegedly sexually harrassing a female employee who accompanied him on a trip to Milan, Italy, in October.
During the trip, Toh asked the alleged victim, whose identity was withheld, to come to his hotel room and tried to kiss her on the cheek three times even though she objected to it, the prosecution said.
The alleged victim said she left the room after Toh tried to kiss her on the lips, even after she repeatedly said “no.”
As soon as she returned to Korea from the trip, she filed a complaint with police and quit her job.
Toh has denied the allegations. Toh said he was only saying “hello” the way Italians do, and had no intent to harass the employee, according to the prosecution.
Doh served as the president of the Korea Model Association from 1982 to 1986.
