Park to visit UK in Nov.

President Park Geun-hye is slated to make a state visit to the United Kingdom during November 5-7 at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II, Cheong Wa Dae said Wednesday.
“The two countries are now in talks to decide a specific itinerary,” Park’s spokeswoman Kim Haing said.
Over the three-day visit, Park is expected to stay at Buckingham Palace, the prestige offered only to those visiting the country on state visits, and meet Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron.
Park is the second Korean president to fly to London on state visit after late President Roh Moo hyun in 2004. Her visit also comes at a time when the two countries mark the 130th anniversary of relations this year.
Since her inauguration in February, Park visited the United States in May and China the next month. She plans to make a flight to Russia next month to participate in the G20 Summit.
