MB criticized for playing golf on 4th anniversary of Roh Moo-hyun's death

Former President Lee Myung-bak is under heavy criticism for allegedly playing golf on May 23, the fourth anniversary of the death of ex-President Roh Moo-hyun.

Sources close to former President Roh, who fell off a cliff to his death four years ago, said Lee, commonly called MB for his initials, played golf in Geoje in South Gyeongsang Province on May 23 and 24.

Kim Hyun, a lawmaker of the Democratic United Party, said on his Twitter account said people of high reputation have a responsibility to act appropriately and to have played golf on the fourth anniversary of ex-President Roh’s death in the neighborhood deserved harsh criticism.

Lee had also been under criticism for taking out an entire tennis club during his term.
