President Park's senior press secretary resigns over sex scandal

Huh said in a press conference at Cheong Wa Dae that Lee has decided to take all the responsibility for the occurrence.Lee Nam-ki, senior secretary for public relations to President Park Geun-hye, has handed his resignation, taking responsibility for a sex scandal which allegedly occurred when spokesman Yoon Chang-jung accompanied the President to Washington, Park’s chief of staff Huh Tae-yeol said Sunday.
“Where this embarrassment is concerned, all those involved are prepared to take responsibility,” Huh said.
Huh was referring to an incident in which spokesman Yoon allegedly grabbed the buttocks of a young intern at the at the Korean Embassy in Washington after having drinks with her on the night that Park and U.S. President Barack Obama held a summit meeting.
