Woods proposes to his former wife
In a surprising move, Tiger Woods, who really needs no introduction, has proposed to his former wife Elin Nordegren under conditions that would leave anyone in awe.
According to American sport cable channel Fox Sports and the tabloid National Enquirer, Woods has been working overtime in his efforts to get the former Swedish model back in his life.
The reports said Woods got down on his knees last Christmas and formally proposed, presenting her with a ring.
Sources close to Nordegren said she was contemplating the offer but is demanding a compensation of $350 million in case he returns to adultery, the main reason for their divorce.
The couple first met in 2001 and married in 2004. The first daughter Alexis was born in 2007, followed by the son Charlie Axel in 2009.
Then revelations of Woods’ adultery came to light and the two were divorced in August 2010.
