NK seen to conduct another nuclear test before April

North Korea is like to conduct its third nuclear weapons test before April, said Burwell Bell, former head of the U.S. Armed Forces in Korea told Voice of America Jan. 3.

Bell said North Korea is likely to organize the test before April in anticipation of negotiations with South Korea, He emphasized that the new regime under Kim Jong-un is eager to show both South Korea and the United States that it has nuclear weapons capabilities, now that it has proven that is can launch an inter-continental missile.

It has been reported that North Korea has set up its testing grounds in North Hamgyeong Province and is ready to go whenever Kim Jong-un gives the word.

The facility is believed to have been damaged by recent natural disasters but has been checked as being in action by satellite photographs posted on the website North 38.

The photos apparently revealed that the facility was functioning from November last year.
