Manager of entertainment agency found chain rapist

A 24-year-old manger of an entertainment agency was caught by Seoul police Thursday in suspicion of harassing or raping women in Seoul and Busan.

The Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for the suspect later on that day as it is a serious case and he is feared to run away, according to police.

Gangnam Police said Lee has been suspected to have committed sexual violence on six women in Seoul and Busan since November last year, including the woman whom he sexually assaulted at her home after shadowing her from work.

Lee is reported to have worked as road manager of an entertainment agency which manages several famous actors and actresses for one year.

A police officer said that Lee invaded the homes of victims through unlocked windows without their notice or riding elevator along with the victims.

Lee mainly targeted women in their 20s and 30s who were returning home from work alone. However, Lee is reported to not have used weapons during his criminal act.

In the DNA check, police also found an additional sexual crimes from him in Yongsan, Seoul, and Busan.

“Lee seems to be a sexual masochist,” a police officer said.
