Presidential secretary selected director of IMF board
A Korean presidential economic secretary was selected Wednesday as a director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)'s executive board, a source said.
Yoon Jong-won, economic and finance secretary to President Lee Myung-bak, will work as one of the 24 directors of the IMF board for two years starting next month.
Yoon is considered an IMF expert with two previous stints in the agency. (END)
