Vietnamese leader to make state visit to Korea next week

Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang will make a three-day state visit to Korea next week, according to Cheong Wa Dae Monday.

In a statement, the presidential office said the Vietnamese leader will arrive in Seoul next Tuesday to discuss bilateral issues and cooperation in security, trade and energy, and development assistance.

During the three-day trip to Korea, President Sang will pay a visit to an unidentified industrial complex and meet business leaders to woo South Korean investment in Vietnam.

Korea and Vietnam will mark the 20th year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.

The Vietnamese leader will head back home next Thursday after wrapping up his state visit.
