TOEFL customer center opens

TOEFL test organizer, Educational Testing Service (ETS) has launched a customer center to service Korean applicants. The U.S.-based test maker said Thursday the toll-free call center aims to offer information on test preparation materials, the locations of test venues and report test results. The number to dial is 00-308-13-2544 from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. during weekdays, local time.

Paul Lee, country manager of ETS Global BV Korean Branch, said, "The center was developed as a unique resource for Korean students in preparing for and responding to TOEFL-related questions throughout the testing process. We look forward to making the process easier and more efficient for Korean students."

About eight consultants will be assigned to answer calls, according to the center.
