Japanese FM Due in Seoul Wednesday
Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada will arrive in Seoul Wednesday for talks with his Korean counterpart Yu Myung-hwan on North Korea, and other bilateral and international issues, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said Thursday.
The two-day visit will be Okada's first trip to South Korea since he took office last year.
Yu and Okada are also expected to discuss President Lee Myung-bak's planned visit to Tokyo as part of the "shuttle diplomacy" between the countries, ministry officials said.
