Human Beings Are Aliens

The human race began as microbes brought to Earth by comets billions of years ago, according to a British scientist.

"We are all aliens. We share a cosmic ancestry," Prof. Chandra Wickramasinghe, astrobiologist at Cardiff University, said in his paper carried in the Cambridge University's international journal of space biology.

He said the first "seeds of life" were deposited on Earth 3.8 billion years ago by comets.

"These then multiply and seed other planets. We are thus part of a connected chain that extends over a large volume of the cosmos," the professor said.

인류는 수 십 억년 전 혜성이 가져온 미생물에서 시작됐다고 영국의 한 과학자가 주장했다.

카디프 대학교의 천체생물학자인 찬드라 위크라마싱 교수는 "우리 인류자체가 바로 외계인이며, 우주의 조상의 피를 공유하고 있다"고 영국 캠브리지 대학교 우주생물학 국제저널에 발표한 논문에서 밝혔다.

위크라마싱 교수는 "인류 씨앗"은 38억년 전에 혜성에 실려 지구에 왔다고 주장했다.

이 교수는 "이 씨앗은 다시 증식과 또 다른 씨앗을 뿌리며 현재의 인류가 되었다"고 말했다.
