N. Korea Set to Test-Fire More Missiles

North Korea appeared to be readying to test-fire short-range missiles off its west coast Tuesday, a day after it launched five from the east, Yonhap News Agency reported Tuesday, quoting a South Korean source.

North Korea earlier announced a navigation ban on both coasts Oct. 10-20, according to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The communist state test-fired KN-02 missiles from its east coast Monday.

"There are signs that the missile launches are being prepared on the west coast," the source said, adding they could be part of a routine military exercise aimed at improving rocket capabilities.

The source did not go into specifics, but he added that three of the five missiles tested earlier this week may have fizzled, prompting speculation North Korea could test-fire more in coming days.
