Seoul Subway, Buses Run by 2 a.m. Monday, Tuesday

Subways and buses will run till 2 a.m. the next day on Monday and Tuesday in Seoul for the convenience of those who return to Seoul late from their hometowns, the municipal government said.

Individual taxi drivers will be able to do business by midnight on Tuesday without restriction. The restriction was temporarily lifted last Friday also for the convenience of citizens although in normal days, individual tax drivers have to leave their taxis idle a few days after driving for their rest.

The city also plans to crack down on taxi drivers’ refusal of passengers, illegal parking or staying near subway stations and bus terminals.
