Lotto Operator Denies Fabrication

Namum Lotto, the official Lotto service provider, Friday denied allegations that the popular lottery 'Lotto' has been operating at fault.
``The allegations are clearly the result of misinterpretation by non technical people of technical data and raise questions about the credibility and motives of those who made them,'' the operator said in the statement.
Rep. Chin Soo-hee of the governing Grand National Party claimed Wednesday that the lucky draw system was error prone but the service provider discounted the systematic problem as minor.
Chin insisted that discordant data between the lottery service's main server and the supervising system has been found 12 times since last December.
