Chinese Student Dies in Car Accident

A Chinese student studying in Korea died in a car accident on Friday night, while another injured, Yonhap reported.

A Chinese student at Dongshin University, whose last name is Song, 21, was transferred to a hospital after she had been hit by a car near her school, but she later died.

^Another Chinese student, Miao, 21, who was with Song, is currently receiving medical treatment.

The two Chinese are students from China’s northeast Heilongjiang province and came to Dongshin University in southwest Chollanamdo province in March as exchange students

At the time of incident, they were on their way to return to campus, after shopping in downtown.

The police are doing further investigating the case
