Missing Mother, Daughter Found Dead: Police

A mother and daughter who went missing two weeks ago were found dead Tuesday at a dike on Ganghwa Island, police said.
They said the bodies of Yoon Bok-hee, 47, and her 16-year-old daughter were found at 10.50 a.m. They were wearing clothes but the extent of decay was severe, they said.
Before they went missing, Yoon withdrew 100 million won ($100,000) from an ATM on June 17 and then disappeared with her daughter. Some 500 police were mobilized to find them.
CCTV footage at the ATM captured the mother taking a large sum of money to her car in which two men in their 20s were seated. She seemed to have back pain at the time. After one hour, her mobile phone was turned off 16 kilometers away from the ATM.
Police suspect kidnappers murdered the women.
