Classroom in Good Message Campaign

A classroom to fight cyber-bullying has been set up at a school in Jeju. Jeju Jungang Middle School held celebrations Wednesday for the opening of a ``Sunfull Room’’ with the Sunfull Movement headquarters founded by Chung-Ang University professor Min Byoung-chul.
``Sunfull’’ means good messages or comments online. The movement started last year to cultivate a positive mindset among students in the wake of an increasing number of people suffering from malicious cyber postings.
Min who is well known as a star English lecturer, has been campaigning against bullying along with other celebrities. As a result, his efforts were recognized by the president of Northern Illinois University, his alma mater in the U.S.
``We can educate and instill in our young students a true sense of humanity by providing them with opportunities to communicate positive comments online rather than derogatory comments that lead to cyber-bullying,’’ Min said.
