Not a multicultural society

Dear editor,

I am a foreigner living temporarily in Korea. I very much appreciate Korean culture and I hope that it flourishes.

I hope that Korea does not develop as a multicultural society, but as a Korean society with a welcome for persons of other cultures that helps us with integration while respecting and retaining those aspects of our native cultures that are not inimical to Korean culture.
