Nuclear disaster in Japan

Dear editor,

Despite claims of success things are going from bad to worse in Japan. According to media report Japan has decided to raise the severity level of the crisis at its Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant to 7, the highest level and equal to the 1986 disaster at Chernobyl in the former Soviet Union.

The Tokyo government also admitted that nuclear meltdown is an extremely major disaster and raised the crisis level to the worst possible on the international scale.

Unfortunately the international community is still doing little to provide any help to control increasing radiation after Japan’s worst crisis in Fukushima. Huge amounts of radiation affected water leaking from plant to sea have also become a big disaster of modern history.

The international community raised fears about the impact of radiation on humans. School, offices, public places are not safe from radiation, and rising radiation has become a serious concern for human health.

Now the country is also seeing widespread unemployment and jumping prices of basic commodities. Japan is considered the most modern country of present world. After the nuclear disaster analysts are raising serious concerns over safety of nuclear power plants in other countries.
