Flowers are not only a colorful addition to your home, they can also be used to nourish the skin.
According to skincare brand Kiehl's, floral extracts have soothing and moisturizing benefits that are essential in hot weather.
Jurlique's Rose Water Balancing Mist is one of the must-haves this summer. The product is designed to restore and hydrate the complexion and is ideal for normal and combination skin styles, according to the Australian company.
Kiehl's newly launched Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence contains lipo hydroxy acid, which the company says activates the skin's natural exfoliation process, and sodium hyaluronate that replenishes the skin and smoothes fine lines.
Flowers are also good for hair, experts say.
L'Oreal's new Extraordinary Oil Hair Treatment and Balm Mask contain six floral extracts, including rose, sunflower and chamomile, all of which are known to nourish and strengthen hair. They are also designed to add a glowing shine and softness.
