Amid the growing appetite for solo travel and value-added vacations, Lotte Hotel has newly relaunched its overhauled official website showing off personalized services for reservations and membership processes.

Lotte, the nation's largest hotel operator with 30 properties, 19 in Korea and 11 abroad, announced Thursday that it completed improving the website, Aug. 30, loading it with a variety of customer-friendly features, on par with those of global hotel brands such as Hyatt and Marriott.

“The renewed website will help Lotte reach its goal of joining the top three hotel brands in Asia,” a Lotte official said.

The most outstanding features of this upgrade are the significantly increased customer-friendly functions.

Customers can search based on their preferences by filtering packages with various keywords such as breakfast, spa and membership as well as by comparing at a glance up to four rooms or package deals from a list on the website.

When customers find products or events that seem perfect for their travel plans, they can save them in their “Interested List” and revisit them whenever they want. It works just like the “Cart” and “Wish List” services of online shopping malls. In addition, customers can check at a glance the lowest-priced product for not only their check-in date, but also the week before and after their planned visit.

On Sept. 13, the Lotte Hotel World and Lotte Hotel Jeju websites launched LiveChat, a member-exclusive 24-hour chat service that is expected to provide dependable customer support for travelers.

Hotel staff will respond in real time to any and all requests such as reservations, schedule changes, guest inquiries and calls for room service and supplies. Guests can ask questions anytime, anywhere via computer or mobile app. Lotte Hotel plans to expand the chat service gradually to its domestic and international hotels to enhance customer convenience.

To celebrate the website update, the “Lotte Hotel Lucky 10,000 Promotion” is underway. Guests who have booked and stayed in any room of 16 Lotte hotels by Oct. 31 will automatically benefit from the promotion that only requires customers join its Privilege Rewards Program -- a free membership program.

Each of the 10 guests who win the promotion will be offered a “Lucky 10,000 Voucher” they can use to book a grand deluxe room for one night and LE SALON lounge for two at the luxury Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower for only 10,000 won ($8.90).

You should also watch out for the “New Privilege Registration Event,” which takes place during the same period. New Privilege members will receive 1,000 points, equivalent to 10,000 won, and those who book online via the Lotte Hotel website and stay in a Lotte Hotel room within 100 days of joining will receive an additional 1,000 points. Points can be used like cash at all Lotte Hotel rooms and restaurants, as well as Lotte Duty Free stores in Korea and abroad.
