Ananti Club Seoul, Korea’s first family oriented golf resort, has organized “glamping,” or glamorous camping, for families and couples eager to spend a day in a luxurious setting while surrounded by nature.

The “2014 Autumn in Ananti Glamping” event kicked off on Sept. 1 and will continue through Nov. 2 at the resort in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Ananti said this year’s glamping is better than last year’s, stressing that the resort offers more diverse outdoor activity programs at the same price.

“We attract many families and couples seeking to spend quiet time in nature every year,” an Ananti spokeswoman said. “We have set up 10 tents equipped with a bed, sofa, table, barbecue grill and other amenities. We place each tent far apart from one another so our guests can enjoy privacy.”

The operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and all guests get complimentary welcome drinks. They can choose either the “Ananti package” or “barbecue package.”

The Ananti package, priced at 230,000 won on weekdays and 280,000 won on weekends, includes a barbecue lunch for two adults in a glamping tent. For an additional guest, the cost is 70,000 won. The guests are also allowed to use all facilities at Ananti Club Seoul.

In the barbecue package, two adults can enjoy a barbecue dinner inside the tent at 340,000 won on weekdays and 390,000 won on weekends. It also costs additional 70,000 won to add one person to the dinner table.

“Our guests can ride a golf cart to tour our 27-hole golf course. Or they can watch a movie twice a day in the glamping zone,” the spokeswoman said. “Those who want to engage in sports activities with their families can play tennis or badminton, or take a 1-kilometer walk in our nut pine tree forest.”
