Grand Hilton Seoul hosts Oktoberfest

The Grand Hilton Seoul will host Oktoberfest, one of Germany’s most famous annual event, on Sept. 7.
The floor of the hotel’s Convention Center will be transformed into a joyful festival brimming with traditional German food and beers. The Oktoberfest, held since 1810, is a 16-day festival held annually in Munich in Germany running from late September to the first weekend in October.
Those attending will be able to taste popular German beer including Berentzen, Beck’s and Cass, as well as Jagermeister, tea and the other beverages.
The German Band “The Paulaner,” will be invited from Germany to perform during the event. Staffers will be wearing traditional German costumes with decorations recreated to match the original fest.
There will also be diverse
games such as a beer drinking contest, nailing game and dancing time. A raffle draw will also take place, where lucky winners can take home great prizes such as airline tickets, hotel coupons, Ferrari by Logic3’s headset, Millet backpacks and Lavida cosmetic sets.
For the price-savvy beer aficionados, the hotel is currently offering early bird tickets. Priced at 120,000 won, the early bird tickets .will be on sale through July 31. The price for the standard Oktoberfest ticket is 140,000 won. For more information, call (02) 2287-7456 or email to
