Sushi Cho has invited chef and owner Koji Koizumi of Kohaku to cook a special dinner that on March 15 and 16. The restaurant Kohaku has won two Michelin stars for chef Koizumi’s modern take on Japanese dining after opening in 2008. Having earned his first Michelin stars at the age of 31, Koizumi is known for adhering to the tradition of Japanese cuisine of valuing seasonality but injecting a modernity of his own, thus the name “nouveau kaiseki.” Savor a 10-course menu of Koizumi’s creations that will feature along with Queen Elizabeth’s official champagne Pol Roger for 544,500 won. Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

The hotel’s Korean barbecue restaurant Myongwolgwan has a finger-licking “galbi” promotion under way to continue through March 29. This palatable promotion aims to invite many customers to enjoy premium marinated Korean rib at an exceptionally affordable price. The special promotion offers 300 grams of marinated rib for weekday lunches (12:00-17:00) at 37,000 won per person. (Tax and service charges included). Public holiday weekdays are excluded from the promotion.

Refresh your taste buds with seasonal spring vegetables at the Renaissance Seoul Hotel’s buffet restaurant Café Elysee. The restaurant has brought the best-quality spring vegetables from all over Korea. Dishes such as spring vegetable “bibimbap,” seafood pancake with wild garlic, flower pancake, baby ginseng tempura and flounder soup with mugwort are just a few of the dishes that will be available through March 31. For mothers and daughters, the Lotte Hotel Jeju offers a two-night package from March 3 to 26. Dubbed the “Mother and Daugher Healing Retreat Package,” it is priced at 850,000 won for two nights at Lotte Hotel Jeju’s Deluxe Ocean View Room, Asiana Airlines roundtrip tickets for two, SK-II Boutique Spa for two, breakfast for two on each day (choice between in-room dining or at a restaurant), dinner for two on one preferred date of stay (Choose one from Japanese, Korean, and Italian). There are also other special privileges for the package guests.

Guests can choose two consecutive dates of stay from the following set periods: March 3 to 7, March 10 to 14, March 17to 21, and March 24 to 26.
